Hello my steemit friends i hope you are all doing well i am participating in another exciting contest and this time it's about choosing a preferable era. I will share my thoughts on which era i prefer what changes i like and dislike about the modern era and whether i am happy with the time i was born in. Lets dive in!

The era that is on my preferences list is the Victorian Eras which lasted from 1837 to 1901 during Queen Victoria reigns i find this era fascinating because of its strong senses of tradition and rich culture. The Victorian Era was knowns for its beautiful architectures elegant fashion and focus on literatures and arts. People had a strong sense of family values and the society was polite and well mannered. Although it was not perfect i believe it was a time when people lived simpler lives and appreciated the little things more.

Changes i Like About the Modern Era.

There are many good changes that have come with the modern era. For example technology has made life easier and more convenient. Today we have mobile phones the internet and many gadgets that help us stay connected and get things done quickly medicine and healthcares have also improved a lot which means peoples can live longer and healthier lives. Education is more accessible giving everyone a chance to learn new things and pursue their dreams.

Changes I Dislike About the Modern Era.

However there are also some changes that i do not like about the modern era. People are more stressed and busy now than before. With the fast paced lifestyles many peoples do not have time to relax and enjoy their lives the use of social media has made people more disconnects from each other even though we can communicate easily. In the past people spent more time talking face to face while now everyone is glued to their screens. Environmental pollution is also a big issue as industrial growth has caused harm to natures.

Am i Happy with the Era i Was Born In?

I am grateful for the era i was born in because it allows me to experience both modern advancements and some traditional values from the past. I am glad that i can enjoy the benefits of technology good healthcare and quality education. At the same time i try to keep a balance between modern life and traditional values like spending time with my family and appreciating nature. Even though there are challenges in every era i believe that learning from the past and making the most of the present can help us live fulfilling lives.
