We are food-loving Bengalis. We always want to taste different types of food. That's why sometimes we make different types of food at home, and sometimes we go out and eat different delicious foods from roadside shops or restaurants. However, in the current era of YouTube, many people watch videos and eat different types of food at home. Because even if the food they make at home is a little lacking in taste, they are delicious to eat. Each one has a unique taste and name. Nowadays, many people sell this food and have gained a lot of recognition on Facebook and YouTube. Anyway, let's start my recipe today. Before starting, let me share some of the things behind it:-

You can call it a bad habit or hobby of mine. I like to make different things myself at different times. Especially if I see a viral food on Facebook, I want to eat it more. But I don't buy it, I made it with my own hands. There was no Atop rice powder at home, and these cannot be made again with flour bought from the market. Later, I called my mother at home and asked her to send me some Atop rice powder. Later, my mother sent some rice powder to Dhaka. But I asked my sister-in-law to make Chita roti, but she said she couldn't. Later, my cousin Milap and I made Chita roti the night before yesterday. That's why I thought I'd share it with you too.

Making Chita roti with Atop rice powder

Serial No.IngredientsQuantity
1.Atop rice powder500 grams
2.Salt-as much as needed.

First step:-

First, buy Atop rice from the market and grind it into powder using a pestle and mortar or blender or any machine. My mother used to send me powdered rice from my house, I kept it in the deep freezer and took it out. However, if it has been kept in the freezer for a long time, you need to take it out in advance and dry it in the sun.

Second step:-

Now in a bowl, mix the flour, some salt and lukewarm water well. It should not be too thick or too thin. Mix it in such a way that the flour does not stick to your hands.

Step Four:-

Now put a pan on the stove and brush it with a very small amount of oil.

Step Five:-

Now take a little of the flour mixed with your hands and sprinkle it on the pan. There will be some empty spaces in between. It will be done after heating for a while.

Step Six:-

After a few minutes, turn it over with a fork. It will only be cooked on one side. It should look like a net or mosquito net. It is better to fold it a little while lifting it.

In this way, I made the rest of the sprinkled rotis in the same way. It is actually made by hand, so it is called Chita Roti. Now you can eat these rotis with vegetables or curry of your choice. But most of the time I like to eat them with meat. Chicken meat was cooked in my house, and green vegetables were cooked. I tasted it with that. My cousin made the pithas.

I took some Chita Roti, meat and green vegetables on a plate. Then I started eating. Honestly, I don't know how the roti made in the market tastes, this Chita Roti made at home tasted amazing when eaten with meat. Which you won't understand unless you try it. I think everyone can make it at home if they want, since the ingredients are very few.

I hope you will also make it at home and try it, how it tastes. It is less hassle to make and takes less time. That's all my recipe for today. Everyone stay healthy and happy. See you again with my new post.
