Hello everyone this is Monz from India, hope you are doing great and enjoying your days happily , so once again I am back with my today's post which is for sure my favourite as we are connected with the almighty.

So every year on the occasion of Mahashivratri in our nearby locality's temple a nukkad natak of lord Shiva's marriage is organised and the celebration is generally very grand people from far away from the town comes to visit the temple and watch the play.

This year fortunately even we got a chance to see lord Shiva's wedding procession though we were a bit late for the prasadam but we really enjoyed the program with started at around 3:30 p.m. at the evening.

The palki of Shivaji was beautifully decorated and all the ladies at the temple picked it up among which luckily my sister in law got a chance to pick up the palki unlike me.

A troup of dancers were invited for dancing in the glory of the baraat . The nukkad performers dressed like Devi Parvati ji and Shivji along with Vishnu ji and Lakshmi ji. Due to scorching heat and traffic the dance was performed on an open truck. The boy dressed as hanumanji was too cute and his makeup was also perfect.

There were two horse carts available for the procession and the small boys were dressed as sages with saffron dress which is also known as the colour of Sanatani. We enjoyed the play and also took some selfies without which our book of memory is incomplete.

After performing near the temple this baraat roams in the city and finally takes a hault after completing the rotation of whole Jamshedpur City and many people follows the baraat throughout the city. This time we returned back from the temple after watching the procession as it was time for my brother to come back from the office.

After 2 years this time we got a chance to see the procession and felt proud about the legacy of Sanatani which we carry. We were unable to take our eyes off the actors who were dressed like rishi, munis, ganas and rakshasas. Hope you will definitely enjoy the post reading it.
