My darling, you are so cute and sweet when you smile. Why do you put on such a face? You will see that everything will be great. You heard what the great master said, right? I am a natural talent and all I need is a little money.
Just a few banknotes so that I can buy the bare necessities. Some paper like @tezzmax uses or @krucekoncept. You have seen how talented they are and there is no doubt that I am no better than them. Well, what do you say? Come on, put a smile on your face and get out your wallet. You are not a stingy Dutchman!

He did not bother to take her hand because what was on the table looked horrible. As if she had some kind of illness and besides, his glass of champagne was not yet empty. It had been an expensive bottle that, according to the waiter, had come from France. It would be a waste if he spilled the drink instead of pouring it down with the euphoria that his ship was coming in.

She kept her mouth shut and her hands or what was visible of them on the table and waited for his story. She had lost her confidence that he would achieve anything long ago, let alone that he had a passion or a niche as it was also called in that artistic world. There was not a hair on her head that thought of giving him a helping hand.
First learn to be a decent painter, she thought,
Her weird painted hands were proof that he didn't care about her or in general but was only interested in the bag of money she carried. There hadn't been one moment she intended to hand it over to him since there were people like @almaguer who were better writers and painters then he would ever be. She lifted a hand and the waiter immediately stood next to him to fill his glass. She smiled.
It promised to be a beautiful day.

¿Te has comido las patatas?

Me encantó leerte.

😅this is a good really, I like the way the artist is portrayed in the story, it is A cleverly crafted portrayal of a delusional artist's desperate attempts to charm his way to success, as most artist have spent their time reading and enlarging their vocabulary hence making them good with words in contrasted with his partner's witty skepticism.

It's questionable he is an artist. If aks me he isn't.

Wow! Terrific. You picked up on the shenanigans in the painting. The flim flam man and the uptight old maid. I really liked how you interjected Steemit members into the story. You're so good you're dangerous...

This is so hilarious! 😂
But I say to you, she should stress the poor man, let her hand over the bag of money as an investment that should be ever benefit from for the rest of her life.

There could be an agreement though, maybe they should get married first.

Nope, no way they will get married, he's no artist and not trustworthy. Look at his appearance and how he clings to his glass, plus she rather invests in @almaguer who is happy with a bag of potatoes (the bag might be no problem but the potatoes?).

Lol...... 🤣
Love is crazy, you never can tell, she could be madly interested in getting married to him, perhaps she's obsessed with his talents.

Wow! Terrific... Loved it. Especially how you interjected some Steem members into the story. Your're so good. You're dangerous... :>)

No, I am not dangerouw it's a message to them and they know what it means, by the way in the past many stories were written this way, it's a nice way to connect but if a name is mentioned more than once it's better to remove the @
A great weekend to you.
