The Snowman - Drawings - Video

Today I like to share something else. It's the result of what I wrote yesterday (my entry Art & Writing contained this time the fairytale En Aftenfortaelling.

Hans Christian Andersen his story "The Snowman", did you hear about it? Although I am familiar with this writer I never heard this tale before. I don't consider it his best story but it's interesting enough to read and spend some thoughts on.

Though his stories have their roots in folk legend, they are personal in style and contain elements of autobiography and contemporary social satire.

HC Andersen never felt accepted. Does this sound familiar? Most likely this is the the case with many artists and non-artists no matter how famous or liked one is.

If you don't like to read you might like to watch the video of "The Snowman".
Indeed it's not the animation style you might like most but a cartoon, or drawings. I must say I like this style and have been watching it thus far twice.

It's not scribbling but I like to watch how the drawings develop. It fascinates me and I'll watch this video many times.

The drawings (see video) are made by: Carsten Leth Lundh (Concept & Illustrations)

Note: As I understand there's no book with drawings available just the audiobook.
