It is always good to draw something and a cup is as good as a beautiful colleague. Like you I don't drink coffee and go for tea although I am fine with hot water as well to stay warm.
I wonder if it is easier to draw a girl instead of something as simple as this. The cup looks good and for sure you will improve your skills.

Painting is really about observation and detail. Just to calm down. This is important.

I believe the quiet mood to paint is what I miss lately but I found a great youtube video where hands are drawn. I wonder if you like to take part in the scribble contests hosted by @tezzmax in the community. Did you ever scribble?

I would love to participate in various activities, but my painting skills are very poor. I might get criticized if I go to a graffiti event.
It's not a contest for the masters but for those who are willing to learn and I believe that you are will to learn. Just give it a try, I promise it'll be fun and much more worth the experience.
