Hello Steemians and Art lovers,

I hope you're all observing a lovely weekend? As we're preparing to resume fully to work for the year, I hope we've all had our plan and goals set for the year? Personally, I'm not done setting yet but let's move into today's business of Art!

Can I just say I'm proud of you all? Cause, yes! That's my truth at the moment. I could see some vivid developments and advancements in the works lots of you and that's really impressive.

@jayes-art really impressed me with this. The totality of the drawing is just so pleasing then breaking it down bit by hit, the angle he decided to work with is quite tricky and interesting because it's not so easy to tilt the face and bit like he did and still maintain balance in the drawing. The nostalgic pose of the lips is another interesting thing to notice, you see the drawing and just remember some of your beautiful kisses if you've had some. He really did it well and beautiful on this one. Kudos! Jaye.

Aside from the fact that this drawing by @krucekoncept is very rich in contrast, there's this particular feeling it gives me and I'm not sure if I'm the only one feeling that, I get all his explanations on the concept of Melanin but this lips just looks go glossy and wet to me. More like an after makeup kind of lips. It's a fantastic drawing. Kudos! Kruce.

This is my favorite drawing from Jiva so far, she gave this particular drawing a lot and I am quite impressed. Her scribble lines are so aligned and at the same time so free and also has this display of confidence. It's really a good one but then, I would have loved it more if only she was able to achieve more contrast by adding more darker lines/tones in the drawing but all the same, big kudos to you Jiva!

Serdak is one artist that I am really looking out for here because some soft of strengths that not just a regular person who doesn't practice act often should show and that's her line and value usage. She does places her dark value well enough to appear interesting to the eyes. There are definitely areas that needs so sort of improvement but then, these improvements can only occur when she keeps drawing often. It's a fabulous one from you @serdak!

@flowertron is a new member and I don't know if I'm to address the person as a her or she but then, I love the vivid lines in the drawing that cuts out the shape of parts of the face. I have alot of questions but I think her next entry would bring justice to my curiosity but it's really a nice attempt. Kudos Flowertron!

I've seen couple of drawings from Henry and I just do not know what to say about this attempt. Was it lack of time? or material? Or ideas? I just would wait to see what comes from him next.....

Well, this is the first scribble I am seeing from Bahrol as his first entry to this contest was a pencil drawing so I think I'll just wait to see what he's going to come up with in the next lesson.
