CONTEST: SCRIBBLING - (LESSON 3).
Great Day Steemians,
It's another lovely day to teach Scribble Drawing and I hope you all are ready for another beautiful masterclass again. Today we could be having a more advanced lesson as we will be learning how to draw a common fruit - An APPLE.
THE LESSON!
Today I am going to try to make the lesson more simplified, easily understandable and swift. I noticed that in the two previous lessons it was quite difficult for some people to understand the idea of mapping out areas like their spotlight and shadow areas.
This is the first stage of the drawing where you sketch out your apple with light and tiny lines and then you map out your shadow area. My shadow area in this case is where the green arrow is pointing at.
At this stage of your sketch, you're expected to map out your spot light areas. This are areas where you would try to make sure they are left with little or no lines so they can appear more brighter. In this case, the areas where the green arrows are pointing at are my spotlight areas.
At this stage you will begin to shade within the apple with your scribbles and try as much as possible to avoid your spotlight areas.
At this stage, you're expected to develop the shades within your apple so as to make it appear more solidified and they you shade your shadow area to the darkest especially the part that connects the bottom of your apple and the base on which the apple stands.
At this stage, you're expected to map out your background in order to have the feeling that the apple is on a surface and that there's something more like a wall behind the apple.
The areas where the green arrows are pointing is your background (Let's say a wall). You're expected to shade those areas but not with scribbles but with delicate line which you can easily control and not allow to touch the apple. You shading the background gives your drawing a sweet sense of contrast and allows the apple to appear as though it's more closer to you compare to the wall.
I hope you have the lessons more effective this way?
THE CONTEST!
The lesson continues with the same approach and the subject being an Apple this time around.....
Get a picture of an Apple and create a Scribble Drawing of it following the Lesson above..... I wish you best of luck with all your attempts.....

Greetings All Artists and Art Lovers.
Thanks to @tezmaxx for introducing us to scribble drawing. Today, I'm excited to share my homework for Lesson 3, which I've approached with a determination to improve my skills in scribble drawing.
Building on the feedback from the previous lesson, I've focused on enhancing the depth of my shading. I've made a conscious effort to incorporate this aspect into my drawing. I eagerly await feedback on how well I've executed it
Here you can see some steps of My drawing
I found this activity to be thoroughly interesting and relaxing for the mind. I also believe that @drhira, @growwithme, and @jubayedhossen91 would like participate in this activity. I hope you all will enjoy it and have a great time.

You've made another beautiful attempt as usual. This is a great job. Keep it up friend.
I studied @tezzmax apple and yours but for some reason I can't draw it. ☹️
Perhaps the apples are mad because I changed too many in applesauce and apple pie.
I love yours.

I'm sure you would do something beautiful eventually. Just trust the process.
My youngest says I can't draw it because I can't see it. 🤔 @ibesso could do it.
the contest and I find it very interesting! Congratulations to everyone, you’re really talented. For now, I’ll enjoy your works; here’s my apple 🍎. Thanks for the invite, @wakeupkitty.pal!

Thank you. Why don't you give it a try? Just for fun🙂
This is quite a justice! Great job my friend.
Thank you! You know I almost gave up 😄
Giving up isn't an option friend! 😉
Yours looks goooood like a heart 😍 and it feels to me your shadow is in place. How big is your apple collection?
Thanks! Actually, that’s the only decent apple I have—the rest are a collection of deformed, bug-riddled apples 😄But let us take a glimpse of yours though.

I posted mine just now.
I’ve been practicing since the lesson came out but held off uploading because it didn’t quite look like an apple yet. Fingers crossed it does now😅

Same here I don't recognize the apple but apples are miss formed. Nature isn't as perfect as we like to believe. My acorn is better.
You know what I did? Because I was becoming frustrated, instead of thinking about the theories on spotlight, shadows, etc., which I couldn’t imagine even if I try, I focused on the lines and copied exactly where the dark shades and light ones were. And no, I wasn’t thinking about apples when I was drawing that.
Perhaps this could work for you...or not?😅
It may not look exactly like our desired goal, but it brought me closer to it
@betsay can you scribble an apple? @grebmot how about you? Join us, I miss you.
