Diary game January 11 2025 || exploration activities on plantations

Today, the sky was slightly overcast and the wind was blowing gently, making the atmosphere in the plantation very calming, I decided to explore a private plantation area that was not visited by many people, a place that I often heard mysterious and unique stories about, many said there were many hidden gems there such as insects, fungi, wild plants and several others, but only a few people are allowed to enter this area, and I feel lucky because I got permission to explore via WhatsApp call last night from the garden owner, but still I have to be careful with my steps and not allowed to make fire because it will have a negative impact, okay I accepted the conditions and today decided to go there with great enthusiasm to find many moments to immortalize.

First of all, I would like to express my deep gratitude to @wakeupkitty who invited me to publish photography posts in this community.

To get there it took me approximately 15 minutes because the location is not far from my house and I was enthusiastically riding my motorbike and had a smiling face because I was very sure that I would find something amazing today, which means that this exploration activity did not disappoint.

This is the appearance of the road that I had to pass by riding a motorbike to get to the exploration site.

On the way, I saw an old well near the road which was used by local people for agricultural activities, and this well was still active because you could see the water pump pipe there.

Apart from the old well, I also saw an old building made of wood, but I don't know whether this building still has residents or not because there is a lot of plastic waste scattered around the building.

After riding a motorbike for about 15 minutes, I finally arrived at the plantation location to do some exploration.

When I arrived there, the first thing I found was a cassava plant that had collapsed due to the flood some time ago, fresh tubers appeared from under the ground due to the tree having collapsed.

then I stepped carefully along the path that could only be traversed on foot, the densely growing trees blocked direct sunlight and created a slightly dark but alluring atmosphere, the deeper I walked the more I felt that this place held something more than just plants and trees, there is an invisible energy that invites my curiosity.

next, I found a wild plant with a unique fruit shape. I took several photos because the shape of the fruit was very interesting, and I didn't know the name of this wild plant.

the search was not over, I continued my exploration activities to find something else, and luckily I found a beautiful species of mushroom that grew on a tree that had begun to rot.

IMG20250101175429.jpg

This is a mushroom species that is popular in our city and easy to find during the rainy season! Are you familiar with this mushroom?

This is a Coprinellus domesticus mushroom which is quite unique and interesting, this mushroom belongs to the psathyrellaceae family and is often found in tropical forests, this mushroom grows in damp places and is rich in organic material, the main characteristic of this fungus is the ability of its fruit body to change color over time. As time goes by, this mushroom starts with a faded yellow color, turns white and continues to cream, then the growth process continues, the hat of this mushroom will turn black and melt like ink, a process known as autodigesting and this causes this mushroom to appear melts over time and gives a very distinctive impression.

After observing the beautiful mushrooms and taking several photos, I then continued and found Agrilus planipennis sitting on a weed leaf, but unfortunately I only had time to take photos of Agrilus planipennis in one position, he felt disturbed by my presence and chose to fly away.

When the sun began to set I decided to return home, I brought several portraits that I had found as memories of today's exploration, but before arriving home I chose to go to the tavern in my village to enjoy a fresh drink.

Welcome to the community.

I like to ask you to use the #artonsteemit hashtag as your first. Since you show art it would be good to use #art and #photography for your second and third. This will make your posts more visible. You can also add another topic among the first 4 for example: #nature #trip #fungus

I love your entry and your photos are awesome (and so clear). I wonder about the mushroom the getting black like ink and fading away.. we have some species that respond the same. Can it be this is typical for fungus?

The plant you found is interesting. Apps exist where you can show a photo and it might tell you what the plant is. I tried it years ago but it didn't work that great because it gave me 5 to 6 options from which I could chose and if you ask me the right answer wasn't between the given options.

I wish you a great weekend and am looking forward to watch your photos again.

thank you very much for the response, for the next post I will use hashtags according to your instructions and this is very very important information for me, thank you very much for that

To detect plants I did it via Google Lens and Naturalist but didn't find suitable wild plants, maybe this was all because I was in a rush, yeah I will try my best for this so that readers can increase their insight into wild plants that might also grow around them .

As usual on weekends, I prefer to farm now, hunt for photography if I have free time, and today my photos are somewhat suitable for a game diary, and I hope I'm right.

thank you very much for the warm welcome & hope you have a nice weekend too, a warm hug from Indonesia 🥰🥰

It's amazing what you can do with your phone! You proof that everything is possible! It's hard to be an artist but if artists support one another they can realize their dreams.

You're very much welcome to our community. We would love to see more of you around here. Your photography skills are quite fascinating and the mushrooms are my favorite from this edition. If I may ask, what camera did you use specifically for these lovely shots?

I only rely on a cheap cellphone to capture all photos (realme 5i), hopefully this year I have a professional camera to capture bird photos, this is really my dream.

help me make it happen to get a professional camera @tezzmax & @wakeupkitty ☺️☺️

Lol.... Wow, the phone camera must be really good and this also shows that you really do understand the photography thing quite well. Well done.

Yeah, but for smaller objects such as mushrooms that look like udumbara and my phone camera can't capture them, and that requires the help of a high quality macro lens, and unfortunately I don't have one at the moment, actually I also found the mushroom in question but due to limitations camera so I ignored the fungus.

Oh I get. But what you have now still looks very dope to me.

Thanks very much 🥰
