LONGING

IMG_7382.jpeg

Hi Guys,

Here’s my piece for today titled “LONGING”.

There’s a profound ache in the quiet moments when we find ourselves yearning for affection, a longing that fills the spaces between heartbeats. It’s the silent desire for a touch, a whispered word, or the warmth of someone’s presence that can ease the solitude. This longing isn’t just about physical closeness but the deep emotional connection that makes us feel seen, understood, and valued. It’s a gentle reminder of our innate need for intimacy, the bond that brings comfort and joy to our souls.

In the depths of this yearning lies a beautiful vulnerability, a testament to our capacity to love and be loved. Longing for affection and intimacy reflects our hope and courage to open our hearts despite the fear of rejection or pain. It’s in these moments of longing that we discover the strength within us to keep seeking meaningful connections, to believe in the power of love, and to cherish the relationships that bring light to our lives.

I like the drawing but I don't see affection (see hashtag) or emotion (see hashtag) and the text you wrote is good but again I don't see it in the picture. Longing, affection, emotion, and vulnerability look different to me. Can it be that's how you feel and the picture is more the solution to fill the void?

Ps. steemexclusive is an intern hashtag and not needed since those interested can figure out themselves if you created this exclusively for this platform. So if you use it at all let it be the last one.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You're right, the piece may not explicitly exude affection or emotion, but rather serves as a representation of finding solace or comfort in the face of longing or vulnerability.

Also, thank you for the information concerning the hashtag, I’ll keep that in mind.

🙂 I try to enjoy the painting before reading the text, Longing, perhaps it's the correct interpretation for the posture. I assume that the figure has a desires to be touch or love. With the semi inviting pose, imagine the one she loves is around.

That's my interpretation, we can disagree on that. Because the one who really knows the meaning of the painting is the artists him/herself.

Thanks for sharing

Your interpretation highlights the beauty of subjective experience in art appreciation. I personally believe at is best interpreted individually without the subjected meaning the artist may have given the artwork.

By delaying reading the text, you allowed yourself to connect with the painting on a personal level.

Art is a dialogue between creator, artwork, and viewer, with each participant bringing their unique perspective.

Thank you for honest interpretation
