BASQUIAT

As stated from my ongoing piece of ‘basquiat’ which is now completed, and exited to be sharing with you all!. Basquiat made me feel like a child again which i really enjoyed working on the piece..it was worth every stroke and the limited colours..

THE LEADS:

The piece was created with acrylic on canvas.

Started off with my sketch, to acrylic wash of the sketched piece on my canvas.

To adding suitable colors to my background, the shirt and the face. mostly times I prefer to paint my background first..that gives me an assurance on where am going with the piece.
