This is cool idea, though I am not sure I have much to contribute beyond my scribbles at the moment. Still, it's a prospect worth exploring someday :-D
There are already artists on the map. Have a look at the post of @joslud or the google map links. Writers are artists.. It looks good to start with although I am there twice and mainly my boops are shown @joslud did ou notice that as well?
