Here's one of those portrait paintings I made with acrylic paints and palettes knives when I was trying out different shades and tones of Red on human faces, it was quite a beautiful and artistic experiment.

I like the painting. Is there a reason you used red?

Happy Sunday.
Here's a piece called "Marble."
I'm working with PAINT 3D, exploring gradations of hexadecimal tones.
I worked with oil paint brushes and wax crayon shades. The mouse allows me to vary the brush pressure, generating interesting visual textures. I wish I had a tablet and a stylus.

At first sight, it reminds me of a carpet. It looks awesome. What is the benefit of a tablet or better: what can you do with it, you can't do now?

I was thinking of calling it a "doormat."

A tablet and its digital pen would give me much greater maneuverability and precision, unlike the less precise movements of a mouse.

A touchscreen monitor would also be helpful.

@emmabritt how about this doormat?

That's a very nice doormat. I think it should be ok. 😁😁😁

The marble piece is very pretty, what beautiful work.

I don't have many red items I've crafted to share. Instead, I can offer this paint-by-number piece I completed as part of my dexterity mobility exercises.

I changed the color a bit to match my cat, Kimbap. This painting has a name: "The Cat with The Red Scarf." Perhaps it could even become a book someday.

It's strange how colors can play tricks on one's emotions.

I personally have an inconsistent issue with the color red. Too much red can trigger panic attacks and other intense emotions for me on a bad day.

Red hair or red T-shirts were never a problem to me.

But a red bedsheet made me sleepless. I had to toss it out after just one night, and I was able to sleep again the next evening.

When we had to wear a red cheongsam for a Chinese New Year event, I was gripped by panic attacks all day. The dress was gorgeous, but the color just… overwhelmed me.

In the end, I couldn't keep it, even though I loved it so much.

I believe colours like smells do influence us.
I am not fond of red but strangely enough I do have more and more red in my house but not everywhere and prefeeably the darker red. My bedsheet is red but since I close my eyes and my room is dark it diesn't bother me besides I can cover it with a green plaid 😁
Here we say red is the colour of agression (not just love). How about red cars?

I must say I never felt comfirtable in red clothes. I have them today but they are not my first choice.

I only oainted by number as a kid. I doubt it was a big succes. I like your cat although I have no clue why it has a scarf. There must be a story behind it. 🍀♥️

Hello, good morning everyone. I decided to upload this photo. It wasn't created by me, but I don't have any paintings at home that I created with the color red.

Well, I hope you like the photo.
The photo shows a handmade clay plate with red roses, which highlight the plate's vivid color.
What's unique about handmade pottery is that they are fired at high temperatures after being made with clay. Honestly, I've seen clay pottery with majestic color tones that also included red.

Well, thank you for inspiring me and helping me meet more people. Thank you @wakeupkitty

I wonder if this is still be done by hand. At primary school a creative mom taught pottery. It was great to learn how to do it and after the products were back from the oven we painted it. I loved the pottery of back then with enamel powder the baking process made it very colourful.

Comment on the other entries so you are noticed.
A happy day!
🍀♥️

Thanks for the help. Ceramics is an art and at the same time a sculpture.

@grebmot how are you doing? Not in the mood to join with a bit of red?

Kitty.
I'm working on something. I hope you like the result. It's true. We can paint, build, create. Art opens borders and strengthens bonds of friendship. I'll be keeping an eye on the contest and on you.
I think there are 997 pelicans left. How's our exodus going? I hope, because I'm working on it, that this week I'll be able to enjoy a little more time. So I can devote myself to what I love.

Aren't you already devoting yourself to what you love? How are the children? I am sure you love them even if they keep you awake at night. LOL Happy Father's Day! (next week it's with us but we skip it unless there's pie).

997 pelicans left... I wonder what Agatha Christie would make out of that.

Exodus chapter count: 15 (Absinthe)
