ᴀʀᴛ & ᴀʀᴛɪꜱᴛꜱ - Flower Contest by Bambuka

Going through the photos, I found several photos of flowers, and looking through the feed ᴀʀᴛ & ᴀʀᴛɪꜱᴛꜱ, I noticed the corresponding contest. As they say, the stars have converged. I decided to take part in this contest with my photos.

At the same time, I will not single out any one, let the jury or the organizer of the contest make the best choice, I rely on his taste.

The photos were taken in the "wild nature" on the Black Sea coast.
A monocle lens (handmade) and a SONY A7M4 camera were used.
The picture was taken in Jpeg format, so it has minimal processing in the Lightroom program.

Lightroom.

These are interesting shots. In some, I notice that hazy or diffuse halo that highlights some flowers in the center.

Hey, @bambuka
In a future post, could you photograph the monocular lens you created? I'm curious to see it. Thanks.

Externally, my Monocle looks like an Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 14-42 mm.
The exterior has not changed, everything remains as before. I removed all the lenses except the front one and left the diaphragm mechanism. The aperture allows you to change the image pattern.
Light halos are obtained due to the gaps between the diaphragm mechanism and the lens body. At one time, I eliminated this "defect", but the photo became less expressive, it became "like all" monocles.

I like to play with these halos. Depending on the location of the light source, its intensity and other features, you can get different interesting effects.

You took photos of poppies.. I posted mine longer ago in the scribble contest @tezzmax hosted

I like wild poppies. Unfortunately, in my city they grow only in flower beds in gardens.
When I saw these, I couldn't resist)

What kind of competition is this?

These are great and aesthetically appealing shots, I am trying to imagine the flowers with some water drops it would be so beautiful and convincing.

Glad you liked it))
Thanks for your comment :)
Raindrops on the petals enhance the beauty of the flowers)

You're most welcome
