RE: Trees & Figures

The beautiful thing about your work is that you don't seek to imitate; it's your creative process, the ultimate originality. And this reunion, this silent dialogue between paintings, gravity, and perception, is intimate and very sincere. It doesn't acknowledge disappointment; it's simply a learning process, something you love, and it's sustained by that love for creating and experiencing the process.
You use red; it's an intense color, it's life, perhaps passion, but it's part of your signature, of your inner world that expands and envelops, that flows into the external world and generates incredible sensations. I've enjoyed it. It's a spontaneous, mysterious art, forests with souls and stories that have been trapped in waiting, in absence. Brilliant.
