RE: Art Explained by a Writer: The Absinthe Drinkers

I didn't expect this story to take a 180-degree turn. It shows the mastery of storytelling. It's great to be able to read this story, with so much background, so many reference images, the intertwining underworlds. It's a story that represents many lives. It's symbolic and subtle how society can keep bodies out in the open. We can keep drinking and let this whole circus go on. Totally. Tomorrow will be a new day. We'll talk about the mild weather or the heat wave.
Great, great... bodies can wait.

I am sure you remember all the other Exodus parts. If I remember well José the miner in @gertu's story ended up in the centre and so did Janes with mom and daughter.
The bodies can wait indeed just like the old smelling bag covered by long forgotten potatoes. Did Mother Holle clean up?

Who knows the pelicans are back. It's more colourful than vultures 🤔
