I give myself to painting again. Everything looks new. I love the colors. The expression of art not only with words, but with images. I like the textures. What I learned in this painting. Perspectives. Vanishing points. Although I must improve. I learned to integrate new methods. Materials.

Some textures should be done with a spatula. Since I don't have one, I used brushes, although the effect was not what I expected. I think it would be one of the substantial improvements. I have not found some brushes, which are used to give (retouch) details. I wonder what other objects could give me the same effect. If spatulas and some brushes would be replaceable, or if they are indispensable.
I look forward to hearing comments. Criteria. Directions. Whatever comes up and leads to new ports in the art of painting.

How would someone paint without a palette knife if s/he wants that at all?
It feels as if you hop from one to the next "task".

How about a knife, ruler, a scratcher to get rid of the ice in a fridge, the window (not in your case), the back of a fork or spoon, a piece of hard cardboard, leather, plastic (toy) or whatever you can find to scrape and mix paint since that is what it is meant for (I did not use it once and don't think I miss it.)

Perhaps you find some answers here but I can also tell it to you: be creative and try out something new!

The "new" by the way is what you did.

P.s. press something in the paint for a different look or use toiletpaper
