atmosphere
is an ocean
life, flotsam
eventually
cast adrift
pleasure's found in creation
existence
belonging
purpose
persistence
wave function
the breeze
captures the bloom
in a brusque, insistent
fickle embrace
a brief paso-doble
beautiful and brutal
the cape defies chaos
keeps time to a whispered tattoo
until footing is lost
function decay
collapse
the veil slips
the grip is broken
attachment and place lost
seed scattered
illusions and promise
disintegrate and meld
as flotsam in the wind
