the vacant shells begin to wash ashore after their inhabitants' demise...

waves gently lap the shore, a piece of dry brush rustles in the breeze...
the security light shines upon the leaves after all the visitors have left...
but no one stays in the hotels anymore, because no one is allowed to travel... have the palm trees outside even noticed the difference?
a wire fence and a sign about trespassing... but the sign says nothing it all if no one around can read it, and the fence forgot its purpose as it kept none from crossing...
will the pollinators return soon? a question only implied by lightly trembling petals...
don't forget to feed us...
