Wow! I know the feeling is kind of painful and all that, but you can't just remain locked up forever, you'll eventually find someone you love and then open up. Like you said, the other person wasn't ready for a serious relationship, not all people are like that. Maybe, the person is an introvert and needs some more pushing, but don't force it.

I used to be like that, like I somehow pull away from people when the feeling gets serious, 😆, then i realized that was immature and not helpful too.
