Agricultural Story #11.
Hi Steemit's friends, I am @zubaer
From #Bangladesh
Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah Almighty. I am very well by the grace of Allah Almighty. The Steem-Agro community authority has organized a very nice competition. I am participating in a beauty contest. I am sharing some agriculture related pictures. I am also presenting the story behind it. I hope you like it. Let's get started.
Our Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Agriculture is a large part of Bangladesh's economy. A huge amount of money is being earned through the production and marketing of various crops. The agricultural sector is a vital part of the country's economic prosperity and development. Almost the majority of people in Bangladesh are involved in agriculture.
A large part of Bangladesh's territory is rural areas. And the people living in these rural areas produce various types of agricultural products and crops on their land. They earn money by producing these crops to meet their needs and selling them in the market. Our village is no exception. The people of our village are involved in agriculture. My father is a farmer.
Agricultural work is done on almost all the land in our village. Different types of crops are produced in different seasons. Now is the time for rice cultivation here. Therefore, rice has been cultivated on all the lands in our village. I have shared some pictures with you. I took them while walking through the farmlands in the afternoon. I hope you like the pictures.
These are pictures of rice cultivation. Farmers have planted rice seedlings in their fields. However, these rice seedlings are about a month old. They are already green. It takes about three months for these crops to reach the farmers' homes. These are currently in the initial stages.
To cultivate rice, the fields need to be watered constantly. Otherwise, it will not be possible to produce rice. The land has to be prepared with water from the very beginning. Then the seedlings have to be planted and the land has to be watered regularly. Farmers use irrigation pumps to water their crops. These pumps lift water using electricity or oil. And it actually creates small drains or tunnels to put into the ground. You can see it in the image above. Farmers produce these crops through hard work. You can't understand this story unless you see it from the farmers' perspective. My respect to all farmers.
