The okra plant...
The fruit abi vegetable and it's flower.
For this week's comment contest. I decided to capture the okra plant at our little garden,here at home.

The okra is a green fleshy vegetables that is know for it's slime texture. Mostly used in cooking soups and some sauce. Some people actually eat them raw.
I heard that if you eat it raw, it helps to clear the throats.
I think @bossj23 and @nsijoro should try eating them raw before singing on this platform again😂...

This plant can survive in tropical area like this. It can live up to a year, based on the species.
There's another name for okra.... something fingers. I have actually forgotten. But that name is as a result of a particular specie of okra that bear it fruit that are as long and slim like fingers.... I remember the name now... It's Lady's fingers
It can thrive in environment with temperature between 24 and 32 degree celcuis. Anual live circle, 0ver 65 species with the most popular specie called; Abelmoschus esculentus
It is reach in vitamins
