Agricultural Story #13
Assalamu'alaikum Warahmarullahi Wabarakuh
Halo sobat...
Meet me again @syidah01. I hope you are always healthy wherever you are. Have a nice and beautiful day. I'm back to greet my friends in this post.
* * *
This morning the sun shone brightly after the light rain poured down on my village earlier during sahur. Because it was the fasting month, and school activities were over, I deliberately woke up late. At nine in the morning, my alarm rang. I got up and washed my face. I looked outside the house, there were many leaves from the sapodilla tree in the yard scattered in the yard. I prepared to sweep the yard.
I realized something, it turns out that this season the leaves of the sapodilla tree are different. There are three types of leaves this season.
First, the leaves are brownish yellow.
These are leaves that have fallen to the ground. It turns out that the sapodilla tree is regenerating. On the sapodilla tree, leaf buds appear that have not yet bloomed. When the wind blows, the old brownish-yellow leaves fall to the ground. Especially when it rains, the old leaves fall because they are hit by raindrops.
Currently, I am sweeping and collecting them somewhere to be burned.
Second, Sapodilla leaves are dark green.
The adult sapodilla tree has a very large size. Almost all branches of the sapodilla tree have twigs and are covered in green leaves. The number of leaves is also abundant. This type is a type of leaf that lasts a long time on the twigs and has a leaf color in general. Before finally changing color to yellow and brownish. However, in this season at the tips of the leaves grow new leaf buds that have not yet bloomed.
Third, young leaves are fresh green.
When I look at the tree, this type of leaf is on every branch. This leaf originally came from the shoots that grew at the tip of the previous leaf. Then these shoots become young leaves in fresh green. The presence of these leaves creates a beautiful color gradation. As time goes by, these leaves will cover the entire tree, becoming dark green and mature.
learning from leaves.
That's how life is. It starts with shoots (toddler phase) then grows into fresh, light green leaves (adolescent phase). These leaves go through rain and storms and then become dark green (adult phase). Over time, these leaves turn yellow and brown (old phase). At this stage, old and dry leaves will fall, even when the wind blows. Can we learn a lesson from these leaves?

Nice observation! The sapodilla tree’s leaves go through a natural cycle. I think this process is a reminder of every stage in our life. In the end, the tree letting go of its old leaves to make room for new ones.
That's right, my friend. This tree is going through a natural cycle. Everything is going as it should. There is no cheating or feeling cheated. Everything has its own time.🙃
Welcome to steem-agro!
MODs Comment/Recommendation:
It is true that these trees grow new leaves after they must have let the old ones gone, which serve as manure to the soil.
