SEC | S20W6: "The Use of Drones in Agriculture"

in Steem-Agroyesterday

Assalam O Alaikum.

Technology is changing many areas of our lives included farming one of the excited changes is the use of drones also known as unmanned aerials vehicles in agriculture. These flying deviced have brought new ways to help farmers grow crops more effectively and save time. Let's explore how drones are modernizing agriculture especially in my country Pakistan.

Modernizing agricultures with drones.

Drones have become a helpful tools for farmers in Pakistan just like in many other parts of the world in the pasts farmers had to walks through fields to check the conditions of crops. Now drones can quickly fly over large fields giving a cleared view of the crops from above. This allows farmers to identify problems early such as pests diseases or areas where plants are not growing well drones are playing a key role in making farming more modern and efficients.

Precision and efficiency in agriculture.

Using drones makes farming more precised and efficient when drones are used for spraying fertilizers pesticide or water they can targeted specific areas that need it the most rather than covering the entire fields. This reduces the amount of chemicals and water needs which saves money and helps protect the environment additionally drones can collected data about the crops and soil helping farmers makes better decisions about what their fields need. This type of precisions farming means that resources are used wisely which leads to highers crop yields and better qualities products.

Managing soil moistured and nutrient levels.

Drones are also helpful in managing soil moistured and nutrients by flying over the fields drones equiped with special sensors can detect how much water the soil holds. This information helps farmers decide when and how much to water their crops. Similarly drones can identify areas where crops may lack important nutrients allowing farmers to apply fertilizers only where needed. This not only improved the growth of the plants but also prevents the waste of valuables resources.

The roles of multispectral and hyperspectral imaging sensor.

Agriculturals drones often come with multispectral and hyperspectral imaging sensors which are advancing types of cameras these sensors can see details that are not visibles to the human eyes. For example they can detected the healths of plants based on the light that is reflecting from the leaves. This is important because it helps farmers find problems like diseases nutrient deficiency or pests before they become serious early detection allowed for quick action which can save the crops and improve overall yield.

Drones in soil mapping.

Soil mapping is anothers important area where drones are making a big differences by flying over the fields and collecting data drones can created detailed maps of the soils properties such as textures moisture levels and fertility. This information is important for precision farming because it helps farmers understand which areas of the field need special care. For example some parts of the field may need more water while others may need different types of fertilizers. By using soil maps farmers can managed their fields more effectively leading to better crops growth and higher productions.

Conclusion.

The use of drones in agriculture is truly transforming how farming is done making it more precised efficients and sustainable. In Pakistan drones are helping farmers improve their practices leading to better crop yields and healthier fields. With advanced technologies like multispectral imaging and soil mapping drones are shaping the future of agriculture and helping farmers feed the world.

Observations and suggestions:

. You have nasic understanding on the drones in modernizing agriculture, but you were not detailed in your explanation.
. Nice explanation on the efficency and benefits of drones in agriculture, but your explanation lack details. You're enecouraged to be elaborate. In Efficency, i expected to see thisnsailent points explained; time saving, cost effectiveness, increased yield, disease and pest management, etc. For benefits we have; crop monitoring, precision application, soil mapping, reduce labour, etc
. You need to be more vocal while attending to tasks with details. This was lacking in all of your tasks attainment.
. Generally, you have a good post presentation. Thank you for your participation. We hope to continue in the next season.
