SC-S26W2/Video Editing; Split, Cut, Sort, and Duration

in Steem-Agro18 days ago

I have been planning to make use of this tools taught by our teacher, and unfortunately I had a very busy week, which made it super tough for me to record a video, but luckily I was finally able to make a video on Saturday after my football training. I have been thinking for days on what to make video of since I am not that video kind of person, I can't record myself more than 30 secs, now I have to do it in 5-10mins.

After a heavy football training I decided to make use of that time to make a video of myself. I was able to make a 7 plus minutes video.

I used the tools our teacher used in the lesson, I also combined the tools used in the previous lessons.

Trying out the Zoom function in the timeline

Some clips were too short after cutting, so I decided to use the zoom function to zoom the short clip and make use of the clip freely.

Edit Menu

To split my video into clips, I went to menu 1 as taught in the first lesson, the next menu will appear and you will find Split, this tool splits your videos into clips. I was able to split my videos into clips and I removed the unwanted ones.

Adjust duration / Cut

I used the trim tool to adjust the duration of some of the clips I wanted to use, some of the clips had a distracting beginning, so I decided to use the trim tool to trim out those parts.

Split

This was the tool I really made use of, to reduce the time frame of my video from 7mins to 1mins. It was easy to split, I made several splits in my video. Some parts of my video were empty, like the middle part, I went to the start of where I wanted to cut and I split, also did same for the end and I deleted the clip I didn't want. This saved me too much time.

Sort clips

I zoomed out the same way I zoomed in, in the first step and I was able to see most of my clips, with this i was able to sort my clips by arranging them to the formats I wanted my video to be.

Video speed

Since I made use of the trials I had for the speed feature, I decided to use the normal speed by reducing some of the clips to 0.2secs to show good details while I performed some skills. Most points like looping the ball I dragged to the speed on 3.4secs. I joggled the ball more than 40 so it wasn't necessary to allow it play in normal speed so I had to increase the video speed for some of the clips

Making use of the tools used in last lesson to make my video stand out

Adding an overlay of steemit logo to my clip which was taught in the last lesson.

Creativity

To make this real creative, I decided to create a steemit football academy logo with same steemit format and I added it as an overlay to my video. And I also added a photo to my video as we did in the last lesson.

Aspect Ratio

I decided to use 16:9 ratio in my clip, I just love the horizontal format in videos

Hello amigo
