MODs Comment/Recommendation:
This is a very educating one, the tomatoes and onions business, since it is foodstuffs people consume it daily so it will be of great sales. I love the details and ideas you've given in the post.
Just felt like asking, is there a way or process to know the tomatoes/onions that will be infected after some days or week, if we are just started the business in order not to run in a big loss?

With proper storage tomatoes and onions can last for two weeks before they can get spoil. once the customers continue patronize your farm products you may not have problem with that. I know some people who had built houses in my area from pepper they are selling.
