Today I took this picture of a cassava plantation when I was going home because everyone planted it so that they can have something to fill their stomach. It is very harmful to consume it raw, that's why I normally see farmers peel the cassava until it shows its white flesh. Then they soak it in water so that the harmful chemicals can be extracted from it. They will put it outside to dry in the sun.

Cassava can be formed into different kinds of food such as garri, fufu, as well as eba, all of which are Nigerian foods. Anytime I visit the canteen, I normally order fufu because it is so delicious whenever I have a good taste of it. They mainly contain carbohydrates, which give us more strength to be able to work. Everyone loves it due to the health benefits it provides.
