RE: Comment Contest Alert: Capture, Upload and Describe (CUD) #04
Sombo is one of the peppers that's very common in Nigeria. In fact, we make use of it every day to prepare different kinds of food such as moimoi, akara, and porridge. The English name is cayenne pepper, which contains vitamins that are essential to our health. It's a long, slim, red pepper that we use in the stew we eat with rice.
Most of this pepper we are talking about comes from the northern part of the country because they practice irrigation methods even during dry seasons. This sombo is still available in the market anytime you need it. Without pepper in the food, it would lose taste, and the flavor would not last long.
I would like to invite @entity01 and @ahsansharif to join me in this contest.
I know this thing.. I only knew it as sombo as you said in the beginning. I never knew the English name until now. Cayenne. We use it alongside tomatoes to prepare stew.. But now I've seen other uses of it.
Thanks for sharing.👌
