"Rice Harvesting Day: A Journey with Modern Machines and Traditional Methods".
Hello Everyone
I'm AhsanSharif From Pakistan
Greetings you all, hope you all are well and enjoying a happy moment of life with steem. I'm also good Alhamdulillah. |

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their lives. Today is our harvest day. Today we have to harvest our rice crop. For this, we have called the machine that does the harvest. There are two types of harvesting machines, one is small and one is large, the difference between them is the difference in storage. For example, if the big machine stores 50 maunds of rice in it, then the small machine can store it for about 20 maunds or 30 maunds.
This machine comes when the sun comes out in a good way. Because of the dew that falls at night, the rice crop is slightly wet, and the ground is also soft. When it is used, we have to keep the land and the rice crop happy.
So we called these machines around 10 o'clock so that the dew would dry by then. We had just called the machines there, but the birds had already come and sat here. They knew that there would be harvesting here. Because they eat insects, insects are often released during harvesting or digging. When they eat them, they gather their whole group here.
When our rice crop is fully ripe, it becomes top-heavy. Because when the fruit is planted on top, it falls from top to bottom. If there is a slight wind, they fall and we have also had rains and winds here, due to which the entire rice crop has fallen. That's why we use this machine because it also picks up the crop, cuts it, and throws it away. The advantage of this machine is that when we operate it, it cuts the entire crop and takes it in. It takes off the rice from the top stores it in itself and throws the rest of the waste behind. Thus it completes its circuit.
Our purpose in installing these two machines was to harvest our rice crop quickly. Because the time one machine cuts, the other will also cut. For example, if one machine does this three acres of land in one hour, similarly if we have two machines, then in one hour we will cut six acres. So we have used two machines and we called them and they started their work here.
On one acre the red machine started running and on the other acre, the yellow color machine started running. And for about 15 to 20 minutes they had run them in this rice crop, so in that time their storage space was full.
First, let me tell you how they harvest. See what I am showing in the picture below, there are two types of pictures, one is of the front side of the machine and the other is the picture of the back side of the machine. The first side from where it rolls the crop or the standing crop into itself with the help of these rollers it takes it in and starts shearing it along with it. When it goes in, it removes the rice from the top through the machines attached to it. After skimming off the rice in a neat manner, it throws it back into the tank where it is stored. And the rest of our waste, on top of which our rice is placed, she keeps throwing it down from behind. It keeps throwing it down from there which is the picture of the backside.
After completing such processes, when their storage is full, then they have to be emptied. Because so much rice cannot be stored in one store, at most we can save 50 min in it. Then after that, we have to take them out, so our harvest is very high, Masha'Allah, that's why we need two trolley tractors. Also arranged. To continue unloading them, now the two machines that were running, both the harvesting ones, were full. Now it was time to empty them again, so for that, we set up a trolley in the middle, inside which these two machines started pouring rice into it to empty their storage.
We have covered this trolley up to the top and we have put a cloth in it by placing angles between it so that we can fill it up to the top. In this way we can create more storage, the depth of the trolley is about three to four feet, or, at most it can be five feet. The advantage of putting a cloth over it is that it gives us about 15 to 20 feet deep space in which we store our rice.
When we stopped the trolley in the middle, the two machines, which had a pipeline through which they throwthrewrice, moved over the trolley and started throwing them into it. Thus, very soon our work started harvesting and they caught us by cutting our rice crop.
I want to tell some more advantages and disadvantages of this harvesting machine because we use it but if we buy rice to use at home, when we dry the rice and use the machine to remove the cover from above. When removed, they begin to break. Because all types of rice are cut by the harvesting machine, some are wet and some are raw, so those that are wet, no matter how hard you try, break as soon as they break. There is not much labor at home, so we should not take the rice that is harvested by the harvesting machine. There are some rice that we harvest by hand.
As in earlier times with hands, we used to harvest our rice crop or any kind of crop with the same method is still being used. Some people cut the rice by hand and dry it. They are harvested when the rice is perfectly cooked. After cutting it with hands, it is kept in the sun for one to two days, then it is separated with the help of hands by beating on something. Thus the rice we produce is better for home consumption. Those who have machinery rice go ahead and when it goes to the mills they prepare it in a better way they have big machinery they set it up. But that rice cannot be set at home, so you should use hand-cut rice.
That's how I spent today during the harvest, I hope you guys enjoyed it. And you guys must have understood how the rice crop is harvested. Thank you all so much for stopping by, I hope you like it.

Your method of harvesting rice is spectacular. It's quite different from the one we practice here. Thank you for sharing!
