Forever Young: Deadpool and Wolverine's Last Stand
FOREVER YOUNG: ONE LAST MISSION
The sun sank into a battle-torn horizon. At the center of the chaos, two iconic figures emerged from the fire and rubble.
Deadpool, his red suit covered in cuts and bullet holes, whistled casually as he pulled a chimichanga from some impossible pocket. Wolverine, his claws still dripping, looked at him with the resignation of an old wolf who'd seen too much.
"You know, Logan? I always wanted my life to have an epic soundtrack. Something like... Forever Young."
"You're going to die if you keep getting distracted."
"That's the thing! I'm not dying! I'm the ultimate Deadpool, the immortal mercenary, the regenerating sensation!" He raised his arms as an explosion lit up the sky behind him.
Wolverine snarled. It was always the same with that lunatic. But this time, the fight was different. In front of them, a dimensional rift trembled, unleashing a storm of shadows and creatures that should never have set foot on Earth.
"So... how do you want to do this?" Wade asked, twirling the katanas between his fingers.
"Quickly. And no bullshit."
"Pfff, no bullshit? What are we fighting for then?"
The music played in his head as they charged together. As blood and metal clashed, an idea crossed Deadpool's mind: Maybe immortality isn't about living forever, but about making every moment count.
And in that instant, with the universe collapsing around him, he truly felt... forever young.
