Our country, Bangladesh, is an agrarian country. Corn is one of the main food crops in Bangladesh. It is a profitable crop for the farmers, especially for the youth of the country. When corn is ripe, it is necessary for the farmers to harvest it. If the corn is not harvested at the right time, its quality may degrade. The time for harvesting corn has now arrived. The leaves have been removed from each plant in the field so that the upper parts of the plants can get enough sunlight and the corn can dry properly inside the plant. In a few days, all the corn will be harvested and stored.

The appropriate time for harvesting any crop depends on its maturity. Generally, when the corn kernels become firm and the husks turn brown, it indicates the right time for harvesting. However, if the harvesting is delayed, the moisture content may increase, which can damage the crop during storage. Now, most of the corn in the fields has ripened, so farmers must quickly take steps to harvest the corn.

After harvesting, there are certain techniques for proper storage of the corn. It is essential to dry the corn well after harvesting. If it is not dried properly, it cannot be stored in the warehouse for a long time.

Currently, farmers are becoming successful in growing corn. Since the price of corn in the market is favorable, farmers are increasingly interested in cultivating it. Corn is not only a food crop but also has a significant impact on the industrial sector. It is used to produce nutritious food for livestock.

Now is the appropriate time for harvesting the corn. If farmers can harvest their crops at the right time, they can gain substantial commercial benefits. If the agricultural department provides more opportunities and assistance to farmers, they can be even more successful. Therefore, the agricultural department's responsibility is to ensure that farmers can achieve maximum profits.
