Life with Steem : I harvested garlic from the field.

Today I picked up the garlic from our land and brought it home. We had planted some garlic in a field next to the road. Now it is time to pick the garlic. The garlic can reach the ground at any time due to rain, so we had to pick the garlic very quickly. We picked up half of the garlic from the land today with three workers. I am sharing the details with you below.

When the garlic was lifted and tied little by little, I took a photograph of it. You can see the many roots of the root and it is in a raw state, which is why it weighs more. In the current market, it costs 200 taka per kg, which is 10 steem to buy one kg of garlic. The soil is very hard and due to which the workers had a lot of difficulty in lifting the garlic and it was not possible to lift a large amount.

In the pictures you can see that there is a lot of garlic here and it is ready to be harvested so now we have to pick it up and take it home. The top part of the plants is still fresh and the bottom part has very hard roots so it is becoming difficult to pick it up. Our land has mainly been made into a mango garden along with garlic, potatoes and mustard. Cultivating many crops at the same time is called intercropping. This method makes it possible to produce other crops with the same crop and also makes a profit. This is a well-known method in Bangladesh where we see many crops being produced at the same time with different crops.

Half of the garlic from the field has been harvested by noon and the remaining half could not be harvested. The ones that have been harvested had to be quickly arranged in stages through Vanguard and brought home. Once the garlic was neatly arranged in stages in the car, I immediately brought it home with the car and temporarily kept it under the stairs of the house and dried it in the sun and then made it fit for consumption.
