As this picture shows, I have a medicinal plant that I use and could as well, be used by any other person to cure malaria. This medicinal plant is called Neem Leaf.

Scientific Classification And Origin Of The Neem Plant

  • English name: Neem
  • Scientific name: Azadirachta indica
  • Family Origin: mahogany, Meliaceae

Origin: The origin is not known although, there are some claims which hold that it is native to the Indian subcontinent. Neem has spread over the African continent, southern and south-eastern parts of Asia.

Taking a look in Africa, it has gotten much wider spread as can be seen in some countries within the continent and Nigeria is an example. Neem has grown Virtually in every part of south-eastern part of Nigeria. This is because of its discovered efficacy in the treatment of various ailments most especially, in the treatment of Malaria. Over the time immemorial, the efficacy of neem leaves has been proven in the treatment of malaria.

Yes, of course! After taking the neem recipe for some days, I began to feel better and relieved from the malaria. The neem leave has medicinal properties that could help to combat some sicknesses. These properties or compounds include:

  • Anti-oxidants
  • Ant-fungal
  • Anti-malaria
  • Immunomodulation
  • Ant-ulcer
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Anti-viral
  • Anti-bacteria

🌿Do you always turn to medicinal plants first? Or do you visit the doctor first?

For me, in the case of malaria I have come to know the signs or symptoms. As soon as the signs or symptoms show up, I go first to prepare the neem leaf solution to treat the malaria.

After the treatment of the malaria, I now go to the lab to run a teste for more confirmation or treatment.

  • Put it in a pan or basin and start squeezing the leaves.

  • After a thorough squeeze, add two cups of water and shake properly.

  • Use a sifter to sieve out the water from the leaves.

  • Finally, Take one cup of the water extract in the morning and the other cup can be taken in the evening depending on the time you are using it . It can be taken two times a a day and should not last more than a day to avoid getting soared.

Some RIisks Factors Of Neem Leaves Solutiin To Consider:

Though traditional medicines do not have prescribed dosages, excessive intake of the medications may cause serious health challenges. They should be taken with precautions. Below are some of the health challenges posed by excessive intake of neem leaf extracts:

  • Too much intake of the solution may cause kidney failure and kidney stones.

  • Neem solution limits sperm development in men so should be avoided when trying to bear children.

  • Too much intake of neem can cause damage to your vision.

  • It may cause miscarriage in pregnant women

  • An excessive consumption of the solution may also cause severe skin dryness.

  • Nursing mothers are not to consume neem solution to avoid the toxins being passed to the child through breast milk. This can be harmful to them.

The consumption frequency of neem should not be often like the laboratory prepared medicines. Taking herbal medicines does not stop me from seeking professional advice from health experts.
