When I woke up in the morning, I came out of the tent and I was alone in this tent after finishing the picnic. Today we will finish our potato harvesting and remove all the potatoes from here. We could not harvest all the potatoes yesterday. In the morning, we finished the unfinished work with the plow first. All the potatoes will now be harvested and put in small piles and then put in sacks. I plowed the potato rows with a plow before the workers arrived so that the work could be done quickly and they could not evade work. When the workers arrived, I made small piles of potatoes with their help.

At 10 am, people buying potatoes brought sacks and scales to measure. We spread some empty potato sacks into small piles so that two piles of potatoes could be placed on top of one sack and then they would sort out the cut, the potato-stained, and the rotten potatoes from there.

When my workers started picking the potatoes out of the sacks, the people who bought the potatoes started picking the potatoes out of the sacks with their workers. The reason for sorting the potatoes is that the potatoes will be stored for a long time, so if there are bad potatoes, there is a possibility that the better potatoes will rot and spoil in contact with them.

We need to fill the sorted bags of potatoes back into the bags. In the picture above, you can see some potatoes lying on the ground next to the bags that have been sorted and discarded. My people are picking potatoes from those sorted bags of potatoes into the bags and filling them with an estimate of 68 kg per bag so that the measuring time is faster.

Today we hired male and female workers and divided the tasks to finish the work before iftar. In addition to filling the potato sacks, some of us started measuring the potato sacks on a scale. Today, my brother-in-law and the two people who bought the potatoes are weighing each sack together. The weighed sacks are being sewn together after measuring so that the potatoes do not fall apart, so the work is being cleared together.

We have to put the weighed potato sacks on the roadside to load the trader's truck. As I said earlier, we are doing all the work together today, so a few male workers are taking the sacks from the field to a nearby potato field, and then from here we will take them to the roadside with a diesel-powered trolley because the road is far from the potato field. And a diesel-powered trolley will come to this potato field because another farmer has cultivated almonds in the middle field.

We are bringing 250 sacks of potatoes from our land to the neighboring land by 3 pm. We will now take a trolley from here to the roadside and weigh the potatoes from that land in sacks. Four trolleys are coming to take our potato sacks to the roadside, each trolley carrying 25 sacks. When we finish our work, they will take the sacks and put them on the roadside. We are sorting the spoiled potatoes with our workers, we will take them home and sort them again, and feed the cut potatoes to the cows.

We will cultivate almonds in this potato field of ours. There are some dry potato plants in the potato field which we are stacking together and setting fire to because there will be no place to store them later, so we are burning the almond seeds before sowing them. Alhamdulillah, we finished the work before evening today.
