Target of the day

We have a plan to take the first almonds home today. We are going to the field keeping in mind that the work pressure will be a little higher today. Today we will bring the almonds in a power trailer. The almond field is 1.5 km away from our house.

I am coming to the almond field this morning after having breakfast. We need to increase both the speed and time of today's work. I will work to dry the almonds in one field and on the other hand I will start taking the almonds home after noon. There is fog this morning. I don't understand why it is foggy during the rainy season.

I am waiting for the workers, they will actually start working. I am sweating before starting work. Today's temperature is also very high. The workers, in fact, we first started the work of spreading the raw almond trees in the sun. Some are bringing the almond trees from far away, some are shaking them and spreading them.

Today there is a lot of work, today we have to take a little pressure. We are drinking water to quench our thirst in the field while working. My elder brother has taken shelter under someone else's umbrella to temporarily escape the sun. We worked continuously until noon today.

We are waiting for our rented power tiller car to arrive in the afternoon and we will take our dried nuts home. I am resting on a bamboo pole while waiting.

The power tiller is coming at 3 pm. We started loading the car with dry almond trees without delay. Our almonds are scattered in different fields. We have to go from one place to another to load our car and sometimes we have to take the car to load it. Due to both the rain and the cultivated land, the soil is very soft and the wheels are sinking in some places, which is why the engine is not moving and the front wheels are slipping in the same place. We found the hard soil and made our way out.

When our car was fully loaded, we covered it with tarpaulin and tied it with ropes so that the almond trees wouldn't fall on the road or the ground due to the shaking. Our work today is a joy because we have finally started taking our nuts home.

Last trip of the day

We worked until 9 pm today to take our dry nuts. After finishing our first day of taking nuts and taking a bath, it is 11 pm on the clock. My body is very tired and hungry. I ate my food and stretched out on the bed and fell asleep quickly.
