Perhaps it is good to mention who the witness is or witnesses are? I have a very bad experience after clicking a link to vote for one. The result was that my account was hacked and I lost everything and not one account but more than one and that was a huge waste of my time. I thought to do something good in between commenting and paying prizes so it was quick quick why not give the witness a chance.
If you spend a lot of time on Steemit you are not always that alert and believe everyone can be trusted. The opposite is true. So no way I click links unless I did some investigating besides I believe it's safer to use the option given by Steemit and scroll through the list with witnesses after you check the whitelists and know who does what.
It's great to have a vote but it shouldn't just be we click because the witness belongs to a certain community. It feels to me this is the case the way it's written here. Is it? Is some witness the motor of this community and spending time with your guys or is there a new witness on Steemit? Now I mention guys, are you all Arican and are there girls too or is this a men-only community?
If the witness spends time with you or is the one who started this community it's a good thing he introduces himself and tells what he does or not, or like to do/invest in Steemit or this community.
I'm also curious who ecoer is, is it the witness?

Sorry for your bad experience in clicking a link to vote for and you lost your accounts in the process, that's a huge mishap and I believe it really taught you a lesson which has made it more careful.
It will be better if you go to your wallet and check the vote a witness option, to vote any witness of your choice in other to avoid the mistake you made earlier but remember our links aren't fishy, a new community that aspires to grow won't do such a thing because it will definitely be noticed by watchers in this platform.
Now you talked about gender of our team, we ar currently working towards something which is getting three females in the team as time goes by. We wanted to appoint a particular female but she got inactive all of a sudden, a male requested to join us but we told him windows for male moderators here is already closed.
If you have any suggestions on this I will be happy to know and get at least two females who will be ready to work with us even though we haven't grown much.
This particular witness seems to be part of ecosynthesizer curation trail, we are surprised with the upvote. The issue of a witness being a motor of this community isn't really the fact my friend. Our admin is a witness, this is why you are seeing something like this and if you notice some communities like CCS Community, the founder seems to be a witness and similar thing is being done there.
