"Surviving despite the current price of steem"

Hello friends, I welcome you to my blog. I'm excited to make my contribution in this contest organised by @saintkelvin17.
The price of steem as of today and the past weeks, if not more than three months, is very low. But what do we do? We have to move on, or should I consider having a rest? Let's read on.

Due to the way the system is, I've always thought that the price of steem may get low, but I never expected it to be this low. I just want to state that I'm not surprised it is this low, because anything can happen as far it's not something that is within my reach or control.

Of course, I'm surviving because I have never depended on Steem. Situations like this made me have different thoughts, considering if I should leave my private school job to focus on steemit, because I'm always afraid to lose it all, getting little or nothing by the end of every month.
I'm surviving through my job currently, although my other side hustles are not paying me much, but I must say that God is helping me, not really my income.

It may pump soon and may also not be so soon. I certainly know that it will pump up. The reason I can't tell is that I'm not really into dictating crypto and its market dynamics.

Is the current price of steem affecting your rate of activeness in the platform? |

Oh yes, it is affecting me. This is personal. What is affecting me is not just the price of steem but the level of support these days is disturbing. It's rare for Steem curators to vote, booming votes are very scarce these days too. Imagine in those days when you set 25% to null you will have votes, but nowadays, if you set it there's no support again.
I must say that everything during this period is at a minimum. I just have to rest sometimes rather than waste the expensive internet data that's sold in my country these days just to get $0.10 in return. It doesn't go well. I write these days based on my interests. I just write when I need to write.
Anyway, what I do basically is to write and save my steems till when it pumps.

**I feel your pains in this trying time. Meanwhile, looking at the crypto market in general, I believe that it is affecting all the nooks and grannies. At this moment I would recommend you dive into Steem-atlas for there is great hope here **
That's a nice idea, I mean Steem atlas. I'm still studying that as I'm yet to get the Google stuff.

Is good to here that you have been surviving despite the current price of steem. Is a very big decision to focus all our attention in steemit and quit our offline job and am glad you didn't do that because is not good to keep almost all our eggs in one basket.
