If there is a work on our planet that is very difficult and hard but which apparently does not bear fruit to anyone in the form of something completed it has no end or edge then probably it is the work of road workers who have to patch up roads broken by transport.
Yes if one day for example an architect takes on the drawing of a project for a new house then one day we will see the final result of this work in the form of a finished project on paper and perhaps we will even see a finished house built according to this project.
And apparently holes in the asphalt are something that never ends and if we do not see them at some point around us it is only because we are standing in one place on the road and we need to walk a few meters along it and everything will fall into place we will definitely find other potholes on the road there.
People came up with an example of hard and completely useless work in the form of Sisyphus who rolls a spherical stone up a hill... it's just that back then people hadn't yet come up with road surfaces in the form of asphalt lol.

Some work as hard as possible but not having anything meaningful to themselves. Working hard without great results is absolutely useless, working hard should result in full satisfaction.
