¿Por qué tengo que callar mis versos
y por qué hacer oídos sordos en mi ausencia?
No tengo nada que callar en mis versos,
y mucho menos ocultar el misterio de una vida pública.
Callar es como estar muerto
y que se borre la razón del tiempo.
Me inspiro en no morir en mi soledad,
y mucho menos en la ausencia de quien amo.
Callar me hace cómplice de la vida que no quiero.
La inspiración desborda mis pensamientos
y la abstracción de lo que vivo es un deseo.
Callar puede ser una obra de genio,
y callar me hace cómplice del engaño.
Las mentiras no se alegran de quienes callan,
y la verdad se hace pública aunque duela.
Prefiero morir en mi inspiración,
y no callar en silencio con los muertos.
La palabra hablada encierra mis sentimientos,
y la poesía se dirige a mi mente prisionera.
El silencio no tiene sentido
y el silencio solo llegará con el tiempo.
Prefiero la vida del poeta
y no la vida de quien escribe para los muertos.
La sociedad exige sus problemas
y la poesía los encierra en imperios severos.
La poesía tiene su palacio
y su gobierno está en el corazón de los escritores.
No silencies tu inspiración
y deja que brote el desbordamiento de tus pensamientos.
Reclama la vida que deseas
y no esperes la vida de los muertos.
No callen tu inspiración
y no hagas que tu silencio sea cómplice del olvido.
Guarda tus versos en tu corazón
y desata desde la azotea lo que te aflige.
La inspiración del poeta vale más de lo que crees.
No digas que no amas la poesía
y aunque solo sea por amarla, ya eres poeta.
La vida es poesía y hoy el mundo la celebra.
No olvides su fecha: 21 de marzo en el planeta.

Inspiration on World Poetry Day
Why do I have to keep my verses silent
and why turn a deaf ear in my absence?
I have nothing to keep silent in my verses,
much less hide the mystery of a public life.
To be silent is like being dead
and having the reason of time erased.
I am inspired by not dying in my solitude,
much less in the absence of the one I love.
To be silent makes me complicit in the life I don't want.
Inspiration overflows my thoughts
and the abstraction of what I live is a desire.
To be silent can be a work of genius,
and to be silent makes me complicit in deception.
Lies are not pleased with those who are silent,
and the truth is made public even if it hurts.
I prefer to die in my inspiration,
and not to remain silent with the dead.
The spoken word encloses my feelings,
and poetry addresses my imprisoned mind.
Silence is meaningless
and silence will only come with time.
I prefer the life of the poet
and not the life of one who writes for the dead.
Society demands its problems
and poetry encloses them in severe empires.
Poetry has its palace
and its government is in the hearts of writers.
Do not silence your inspiration
and let the overflow of your thoughts erupt.
Claim the life you desire
and do not wait for the life of the dead.
Do not silence your inspiration
and do not make your silence an accomplice to oblivion.
Keep your verses in your heart
and unleash from the rooftops what afflicts you.
The inspiration of the poet is worth more than you think.
Do not say you do not love poetry
and even if it is only for loving it, you are already a poet.
Life is poetry and today the world celebrates it.

Buenas tardes amigo @elpastor. Eso sí es cierto. La verdad siempre saldrá a la luz, a pesar que mucha gente quiera vivir del engaño. Te quedó muy bien. Una buena forma para desahogarse. Feliz tarde
Buenas @elpastor muy bonia su poesia cuando las personas que aman escribir se inspiran sus poesias salen a relucir con el no callar para compartirnos prosas de inspiración. Son pocos los secretos que se callan que con el tiempo salgan a la luz pública y porque callar un sentimiento o una verdad que sin saber nos puede abrir puertas, gracias por compartir con nosotros sus poesias.
