It is well known that in ancient times, women did not play important roles in politics, and in world religion, to be exact they were not allowed to intervene in these issues, their role was limited to having heirs. For that reason throughout history many women have been convicted after trying to participate in matters that were considered men's issues, one of the most outstanding cases was that of Anne Boleyn, considered the most influential queen consort in England. Her exact date of birth is unknown, it is said that it was between 1501 and 1507, she belonged to one of the most respectable aristocratic families in England, when she entered adolescence she was sent to the court of France and then returned to her native England. Ana's relevance in the English monarchy was based on her controversial marriage to Henry VIII and her strong personality, which at the time was insulting to many powerful men.
At that time the United Kingdom was a Catholic nation, but a Protestant movement is emerging, Ana Bolena was part of that movement, and due to her strong character she became a great activist of this, it is said that she fell in love with the king because of who had a captivating personality, but she did not want to fall under the charms of the king because her sister Maria Bolena had been her lover and had given her a son, in addition to the fact that he was married to Catalina de Aragon, and she told him that only They could have a relationship being married, it turns out that the king's wife had never been able to give him a male heir, which had been a priority for him, the young Boleyn influenced the monarch to be divorced, but the pope denied them a divorce.
This was where the strong influence that Ana could have began to show, she being a Protestant activist had a lot of participation in the decision that Enrique VIII made, which was to cut all relations with the Vatican and appoint himself as the leader of the church. Anglican, a new religion where he was the highest authority and where he could divorce as many times as he wanted, that is how Anne Boleyn became queen consort and gave entry to the Protestant movement
Ana had great power, both politically and in the church, made several appointments in matters of the state, always asserted her way of thinking and became the most important person in the king's court, she was never a quiet and submissive wife like It was expected, she had a lot of revelation, at first the king was crazy about her but after her first pregnancy everything began to decline, Henry VIII wanted with great intensity a male heir to preserve his lineage, but from this union resulted a girl, the future Queen Elizabeth I. After other failed pregnancies the king began to hate Ana accusing her marriage of being cursed, this adding to the strong character of the king ended up leading to a fateful end
Anne Boleyn was accused by the king of adultery, incest and high treason, finally condemned to be beheaded in front of a crowd, at present, it is proven that these charges were false, and that she was innocent, which reveals the tyranny of Henry VIII when he wanted to get rid of her, either because of his indomitable face, or because he had not fulfilled his wishes to give her a male heir. In the Protestant church, Ana is considered a martyr and that thanks to her Anglicanism was established in the United Kingdom, before her execution she decided to call herself the headless queen.
