The Interview Showcase #112: Exclusive Talk with A Pakistani Steem witness
Hello people of Steem and Steemit,
It's a new week, welcome to the 112th edition of “The interview showcase...." and my 36th show for 2024.
If you are new to this page, this lifestyle program has many educational values. A weekly interview of users in the blog concerning some trending topics on the Steemit platform. And tips that can help other Steemians to progress positively and help boost the Steem’s growth.
It will help you to get to know more about Steemians around the globe and even Steem and Steemit itself.
I take time to look at some of the most important topics in the blockchain and have a chat/call with Steemians who have a greater idea about those topics.
They also share some tips that can help other users understand the blockchain and correctly use it. Sometimes they seek valuable suggestions here to help them solve some of their challenges.
@dlike's property
On this week's show, I had some interesting interaction with @dlike and their projects. @dlike is one of the top Steem witness from Pakistan, I believe this wasn't known by many, especially the new generation Steemians. Follow me as I discuss some of their past innovations and future projects.
🔶Dlike: Hello Ubongudofot, Thank you for inviting me to your show and given the opportunity to explore DLIKE project. I am Abdul (aka Azmausa – reachable on Discord with same ID) from Pakistan, Founder of DLIKE project as you already know. I am a professional blockchain developer who loves to code the whole day.*
🔶Dlike: I joined steem back in January 2018. I am a developer by profession, so I was looking to explore my development skills on blockchain. Steem was one of the first blockchain to offer dApp development and it was the main reason to join STEEM.
🔶Dlike: Actually, Steem is a content generation platform and you know it is very tough for many users to read the whole story. My idea was to give an imaginary view of Steem content so users can glimpse the post from its main image.
🔶Dlike: DLIKE stands for "Decentralized liking platform". DLIKE is a full fledge Steem blockchain dapp where users can access whole of Steemit content in images format (just like Instagram or Pinterest) and can show their love to posts (likes) via upvotes same as on Steemit..
🔶Dlike: Main contribution of DLIKE as a witness is DLIKE dapp which has been revived after a gap. Among others, free account creation of Steem was the big achievement which helped hundreds of new users to onboard as before this free service by DLIKE, account creation was only paid and users had to pay 3 Steem to create new Steem account. We are now reviving this free account creation services as well.
🔶Dlike: Till the revival of DLIKE, I was working lonely on this project as a full-time developer but now as we are adding AI Chat engine for Steem users, so couple of freelancers working on this project with me.
🔶Dlike: Yes, AI Answer Engine is being worked which will be launched in couple of weeks and then we are working on android and iOs app too which are scheduled by launched by next month.
🔶Dlike: It will not be used to publish posts on Steem blockchain. It will be an additional service for Steem users just like chatgpt.
🔶Dlike: Currently DLIKE is not supporting any charity but we have plans to move on and sponsor charities.
🔶Dlike: Life is full of achievements and being on Steem as a dapp founder is itself a big achievement.
🔶Dlike: Content is king, do bring quality content, curators will love you and your content and its the key for success on Steemit.
🔶Dlike: It was a tough period for us as our main Goal was to make DLIKE a monetize-able platform along with Steem so that Steem users can earn on both platform at the same time, but failure of SMTs launching and then Steem-engine hurt things and development could not go as expected.
🔶Dlike: Things have changed a lot since then. The best thing which emerges in these years is the development of communities. There were no communities at all and now you can see how authors and curators working hand in hand in the form of communities.
🔶Dlike: To be honest, do not like to hear any specific music.
