The diary game: Fire incident in my area.04/04/2025

Hello steemians, How are you today? I am privileged to narrate a fire incident that occured on Friday,which nearly claimed lives .

Very early morning on that fateful day,I was moved to recite our Lord's Prayer before I went out in search of daily bread.

As I went out with my skin care products so as to assist in bringing food to the table.

After my supply on that Friday,in the evening,on my way to get my money from the point of Sale machine(POS) I met a terrible fire incident in a one storey building,everyone was running Helter skelter,I was unable to concentrate so I paused and started helping the people upstairs to jump down in a bid to save their lives first.
on that event,there was a very fat woman who found it so difficult to jump down,but as luck was on her side,tall men came and helped her down.

There was a signal to the fire service in Uyo that night,after 20 minutes of the incident,the fire service arrived,though they were not allowed to apply their water on the building because the crowd has been able to quench the fire and applied possible precautionary measures to save lives.

It was later the cause of the fire outbreak was known.
there was electrical connection fault which sparked fire and wanted to burn down the whole building.

When everywhere became safe,people started going to their offices in that building to count their loses and thank God for saving their lives and properties.
Therefore,from the incident,I learnt three things while securing an office or a living house:
1.Ensure that electrical connections are highly done
2.Have contacts of fire service with you in case of fire outbreak
3.Ensure that the building has an exit door in case of emergency.
