It is said that no proverb is made just like that, there is some truth behind every proverb. A proverb is always heard that "If you take your eyes off the road, the accident happens" and this proverb proves to be absolutely correct in many cases, that we should do every work very carefully. Because sometimes there is no scope for negligence in any work.
A customer comes to my husband's shop, he is a good friend of my husband. We also visit each other's place in family functions, so just 2 days ago we came to know that when he went home from his shop at night, he told his wife after having breakfast that I will bring vegetables right away. He is about 70 years old, at that time he, his wife and his grandson were at home, his daughter-in-law and son had gone to work.
His wife said that just wait for 10 minutes, I will come after doing the evening aarti. Then you can go, he said, okay, so he stayed on the lower floor and his wife went to the upper floor, where their temple was built. 10 minutes after he left, the sound of screaming started coming from upstairs. Her husband and grandson ran upstairs. As soon as they reached, they saw that his wife was engulfed in fire, fire had surrounded them from all sides, his wife was screaming.
He immediately ran to save his wife. While saving his wife, both his hands got burnt, he also covered his wife with a blanket to extinguish the fire. But it did not make much difference, the blanket also caught fire. At the same time, his son and daughter-in-law also came from office. They immediately rushed her to the hospital.
After reaching there, it was found that 60% of his wife was burnt, her face was completely saved, her body was burnt from chin to waist down. She is in the hospital right now and is suffering from immense pain.
She has slept after 2 days. The doctor gave her so many medicines but she was unable to sleep due to the pain. Her husband has bandages on both his hands. He is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Yesterday, my husband and I went to see her at night. But the scene we saw there was heart-wrenching. Because in the burn ward, all the patients were of the same kind and all were in a very painful condition, so we could not stay there for long. I just pray to God that she gets well soon and goes back home.
