Lahore Museum: Exploring the Art, crafts and History

Friends, my country is Pakistan, which is one of the most beautiful countries of the world. This is because, the Pakistan has a great history, a diverse culture and many breathtaking places to visit. Among them, the Lahore is one of the most beautiful cities of Pakistan because in that city there are many places which fetch the attention of tourists and that is why, thousands of people visit them everyday.
Last year, I was in Lahore so I decided to visit some beautiful place there with my friends because, I love traveling very much also, I have a dream of doing a world tour. And I hope one day, my that dream will come true. Anyway, that day, we left our hostel, started our bike and left towards the Lahore museum which was about 15 kilometres away from our location.
After reaching there, we were told by the guard that we have to buy tickets before entering in the museum. So we bought tickets which was about 50 RS per person and we were three friends, so we paid 150 RS which was about 3 Steems. The price of ticket wasn't too much as the museum was very beautiful as a lot of people were there to witness the things which are displayed inside.
When we entered inside the museum, we saw the shoes in different shapes, designs and colours were displayed which we were used by the people subcontinent in ancient times. That things shows the people of subcontinent were very talented and experienced as the fashion of wearing different types of shoes were present. Also, the sample of a dress were displayed there which you can see above.
In the books, we read that the people and the emperors of subcontinent were very fond of music and dance and after visiting the museum, I believed that things. This is because, in the museum the difference types of musical instruments were displayed which were showing the love and the interest of the people of subcontinent in music and dance.
The history of subcontinent is filled with wars and a lot of cruelty as the British has ruled over the subcontinent for about one hundred years. Before taking their charge, a lot of wars happened between the people of Britain and the people of subcontinent. So the weapons which were used during those wars are also displayed there which you can see in the above picture.
In the above picture, the wooden made thing is known as a Royal Howdah which was used by the kings and queens during the Sikh period. It was a used to lift the kings and queens in the big animals like elephants and horses etc. Due to all these things, I was saying that the history of subcontinent is very amazing and interesting as the people were very talented and creative.
The people of subcontinent were also very fond of art as they used to do different types of paintings and drawings etc. But I don't think the painting above is too old but it a very interesting story is hidden in that painting. That painting tells us about the love story of anarkali and the Shah Jahan which ends in a sorrow.
