Hi Steem-Travelers, how are you today?!

Hope to find you well. After these crazy past weeks, I could clear my mind and finish this post. Want to share with you this amazing trip we did a couple of months ago and help you disconnect and relax a little bit.

Praia do Sono - RJ

Praia do Sono is an amazing place for those who want to connect with nature

An unforgettable trip that I recommend.

This beach is in the south of the state of Rio de Janeiro. In a very remote place, where it is only possible to arrive by boat or by taking a trail through the dense forest.

On the beach, there is no electricity other than generators. The 3g signal is rare in some spots on the sand and there is no wifi. Supplies arrive by boat.

For not having poles with lights, it was one of the places with the most starry sky I've ever seen in my life. And also several fireflies, which are very rare to see lately.

The connection with nature is great, having some options of houses to stay in, some chalets but most people prefer camping and stay in tents for maximum enjoyment and natural contact.

We decided to go by boat, as we were carrying suitcases from previous trips along the north coast of São Paulo, a cooler and groceries. But we would love to have done the trail because we said it's pretty cool.

Next time maybe we'll go with that intention with backpacks optimized for trails.

We took a small boat that leaves from orange trees to Praia do Sono. A very nice and adventurous route.

Water and waves everywhere, experienced sailors to take us safely through some waves and currents in the region. It felt like a stroll through the neighborhood to him.

Arriving at the beach, we went looking for a place to stay. We already had some contacts and we fell in love with a very rustic house with a room and bathroom located inside Claudinho's campsite.

A great welcome and lucky to have a practically empty beach, as we arrived before a holiday.

We did some research and talked to friends who had visited the region before, and the recommendation was to go outside of holidays to enjoy it better, as the crowding can bring some annoyance such as lack of ice, crowded restaurants, and also a crowded beach.

After settling into our house, which was very comfortable, we walked along the beach to take walks and take some pictures.

Some clouds in the region made us worried but we managed to escape the rains, managing to sunbathe and go on trails and walks.

The most famous trail in the region is to walk to the Saco Bravo Waterfall. But we decided not to do it for fear of rain and for not being prepared for this long walk. But we definitely want to come back more physically prepared and do this trail.

But we went to Praia dos Antigos and Antiguinhos, which are the first stops on the trail.

We managed to enjoy an even more deserted beach where we were just the two of us on the beach all day with only a few people crossing the beach and continuing the trail.

The trail consists of crossing a hill and the view from the top is incredible. We decided to spend some time at the viewpoint enjoying the scenery, taking pictures, and taking the opportunity to rest a bit. For even with a cloudy sky, the heat was very.

When passing by the beach of Antigos and arriving at the beach of Antiguinhos, we chose our spot to set up camp and enjoy our drinks and snacks.

It was an incredible and unforgettable day. I miss you so much for writing this post and I'm already imagining the time to return.

Sometimes we don't want to repeat the trips, but there are some places we visit that we want to come back to more often, do you agree?

Sleep beach is a trip to be repeated.

During the night everything was very calm, but we were warned that this is not always the case. Even though it is a place to enjoy the day and relax, many people gather around campfires to play guitar, sing and make new friends.

After a few days, we started to notice greater movements of people arriving with tents and increasing flow, but we were already getting ready to leave Sleep Beach. But with that desire to continue and who knows not to leave.

I miss this amazing place so much, I say goodbye to you, I hope you enjoyed my report and liked the photos I lovingly selected to share this dream trip with you!

And you... Tell me what your favorite photo was. Have you done or would you like to do this trip? Do you often repeat trips or do you prefer to go to new places?

See you soon
