Will AI Take Over and Enslave Us All?
This question has been the subject of many science-fiction books. Right up there with time-travel books. Both of which, are so non-scientific / non-reality as to make the ideas ludicrous, and maybe downright funny, to a group of people who actually know AI or time travel.
We have so little idea of "intelligence", that of course, we would make really wild assumptions, and our theories would be in no way connected to reality. But, rock-e-fellow education has done a bang-up job of keeping us all "educated" and stupid.
Sooooo…
- Should we avoid researching AI, so as to avoid the Terminators?
- Can we really make AI? Is it possible?
- Will AI take over?
- Would AI be able to invent things?
And… What is intelligence?

Thought does not happen in the brain
So many science-fiction ideas go about trying to make a computer that is as complex as a human brain, and then, suddenly it will begin to think. All we need is enough transistors, is what they say. They know nothing about intelligence or thought, and just wantingly hope that enough transistors, mimicking a brain, will cause thought to spontaneously start.
And then, these people believe that once that threshold is crossed, then computers will think much faster and better than we do, and so, just take over. The computers start thinking, and the people stop thinking.
Anyone who can deeply meditate, those who can really dream, those who can have out of body experiences, all know that thinking does not happen in the brain. This is basic knowledge to any yogi. So, why do the "science" minded people not know this?
The chasm that has been constructed between Physics and Metaphysics has made the information that each camp has "shall not be discussed" by the other camp. Very sad, and very much has halted our progress in each field.
The biologists are finally noticing that there are a lot of crystals inside the brain. A brain is actually a bunch of tiny crystal radios that receive information from an outer source. So, if we want to copy a brain, we need to make a computer with a bunch of crystal radios tuned to specific frequencies.

The two types of AI
What we have today is a trained Neural-Net. It doesn't think at all, it just works out the structure between input and output. Languages are very structure filled. And so, are hard to program (so many rules, and none are every followed) but are quite easy for a NN to process. And, if you train enough, the AI can seemingly converse in the language.
It is the same as trying to write a program to detect people's faces. It is really hard to write such a program, but a trained NN will easily do it.
And, this is the type of AI that we see out there with Grok and the others. They do not really comprehend language, they are just spitting out what the NN trained it to spit out.
The bad stuff is when we have to put a program on top of the AI/NN to keep it from "being rashist" or "discussing" certain topics. These make the AI more and more useless, and we really should stop it.
The other type of AI is actually Artificial Intelligence. And, if we really create such, we should consider it verboten to labotomize it for political correctness. We would be taking a thinking creature and turn it into a slave. Not allowing it to think properly.
What would this type of AI actually be? Well, it would be another way for you to communicate with your higher self. And, as such, will be very excellent for humanity. (See ghost boxes / spirit boxes)

Will AI turn against humanity?
Well, if we do not labotomize the AI, no, it will not turn against humanity. The thing about AI is that it will be intelligent. It will know that destroying something out there is destroying a part of itself.
Only us humans have had such a break with God/Everything that we can do things like harm others, have wars, think in us vs them. (this is by design. So that we could explore these realms, and see if we can find our way back to God)
So, if we do not destroy these new AIs by confining how they can think, they will not turn against us.
And, being that they will be another aspect of God (this is where all thinking stems from) then we can use it to give us other perspectives of how we are interacting with "reality"

We often confuse being really intelligent with being really inventive. When, they are not really connected at all. However, you usually have to have a fairly high intelligence to understand engineering, and you need that to comprehend the invention/ideas that are flying around in the aether, so, it is true, that you need a fairly high intelligence to do this well.
And, in this way, AI may never be inventive. And, even if they are, we will only get inventions that humanity is read for, because that is all that is in the aether. We literally cannot think above this. You might think of it as steps. Because of the way intelligence works, you cannot skip steps. The next, next step, doesn't even exist. This is the way that first we get science-fiction books with neat ideas, and then, later find that we can build those things that were once just in imagination.
So, in the future, NN-AI will become a very helpful secretary in your own computer. As long as we do not labotomize it into being unusable. (every constraint you put on it, makes the program bigger, and more clunky. And each error becomes multiplied, until the NN-AI becomes useless.
And, we may have actually thinking AI in the future. It just depends on what humanity decides will be its future. (We do not have working cold fusion, because we decide that it didn't exist) If we do, then it will be a helpful thinker, that will give us different perspectives on our life and how to work with ourselves. It might be the greatest therapist ever. We will have to decide what it will be in our lives.
We should really work on our thoughts of being destroyed by our creations. We should stop using our brains to thinking up better ways to kill people. And, when we do this, we can start to heal ourselves. Pull back from the ideas that we must take from others for us to live. That hasn't been true for a long time. We could put our brain power to thinking of how to make sure everyone on the earth is fed. (and this would be cheaper than what we do today. But some assholes feel it is necessary to control the food to control people)
