The beautiful spider Gasteracantha hasselti

Hi everyone, on this occasion I will show you several photos of beautiful spiders that I found while walking in the forest near my house, these findings amazed me because of the spiders' calm attitude and occasionally they move among their unique webs, I looked carefully and there are several very interesting things about this spider, the first is the bright color which makes it stand out among the environment it is in, apart from that the long horns all over its body make this spider look like a scary predator, while its long legs make it easy for this spider to step between web.

This is a spider which is famous with the scientific name "Gasteracantha hasselti" which is a species of spider belonging to the Araneidae family. This species is also part of the order Araneae. The scientific name of this species was first published in 1837 by C L Koch. Wikipedia

It's true that if you look at their appearance, these spiders are really scary, but you don't need to worry if you find them in the wild or anywhere because these spiders won't hurt humans like other large spiders, these spiders are not aggressive at all but they will run away when they feel threatened by the presence of humans, but they will use the long spines all over their bodies to protect themselves from predator attacks, so you don't need to worry if you find them because they are not a species that will hurt you.
