Experiencing All Four Seasons in a Single Day in Yellowstone

in CCS4 days ago

Grand Prismatic Spring (While I had witnessed it before, the impeccable weather beckoned me to revisit it).
Biscuit Basin (A hidden gem deserving of exploration, featuring azure hot springs and geysers).
Morning Glory Pool (Located in the Upper Geyser Basin, a 30-minute hike leads to the innermost Morning Glory Pool – a half-hour trek for a mere two minutes of photography).
Old Faithful Geyser (Consult the eruption schedule at the Visitor Center, then explore the nearby Lower Geyser Basin accordingly. Alternatively, eruption times can be obtained by calling 307-344-2751).
West Thumb (Formed by the collapse of the Earth's crust, where hot springs and the cold waters of Yellowstone Lake converge, creating an ethereal, mist-shrouded landscape).
Yellowstone Lake (The lake surface is covered in ice during this season, presenting a breathtaking spectacle).
Bridge Bay Bridge (The reflection of the snow-capped mountains upon the lake surface is utterly sublime!).
Hayden Valley (I spotted a bear – delightful!).
Upper Falls + Lower Falls (Lower Falls is the more visually striking of the two).
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (Artist Point offers a distant view of Lower Falls, while Brink of Lower Falls provides a closer perspective of the waterfall. The path is somewhat steep; if time is limited, a visit to Artist Point will suffice).
