Landscape Photography Challenge - Week 79 | "📷Capture, Click, Compete!📷" - On the lake

Hi everybody! I

There are many lakes in the vicinity of my city. And, perhaps, I consider Generalskoe Lake to be the most picturesque.

This lake is a former quarry. As I read, sand was taken from here to build the airport runway. Then the abandoned quarry filled with water, and the banks were overgrown with mixed forest. And it turned out very beautiful!

And this lake was called Generalskoye because a cottage village was built not far from it, where several aviation generals settled. This is what popular rumor says, but I don’t know whether it’s true or not.
