Adrenaline Art

in CCS7 days ago

Thinking about graffiti, this phrase popped up in my mind...

"Adrenaline Art"

Most of the times, it is something those artists do against the law and they usually risk being fined or even sentenced if caught...

At the same time, some of the art pieces are just... stunningly awesome.

ANother side of that art is it doesn't withstand time as it is not maintained, of course...

Check out this short series of graffiti I found out around Varna, Bulgaria

(the text on the last one translates to "And before, and now, Varna hates Sofia".

Go figure...

I have come across some very good performances, even brilliant ones, and if one really thinks about this type of art, one can regret it a lot, precisely because it does not stand the test of time - in most cases it is not maintained. In this sense, the artists who deal with this are not only a kind of rebels, rebels through art, even if they are called vandals. They are true modern sages. Presenting in a visual way the transience of everything in our tormented world. The transience of everything human. Of the perishable and the imperishable. Today this thing, beautiful or not, but carrying messages, is here. Tomorrow, or in a week, month, or year, it will not be there. Whoever saw it - saw it. Whoever understood - understood. The next one follows. Without regrets, emotions and clinging. With lightness of heart. As we should treat everything earthly...

Exactly...
I coulnd't say it better, so glad someone else understands my point of view ;)

Have a great one! :)
